High-performance studio microphones built in the UK
As the centrepiece of a gold-medal winning Chelsea Flower Show garden, the Wateraid pavilion is a stunning example of collaboration between garden designer, architect, fabricator, engineer and Mule Studio.
We used our 3d modelling expertise to model the overall form, a spiral pattern and each individual sheet of steel. We worked closely with the design team over many iterations to deliver a design that meets practical considerations whilst maintaining their vision.
We created a workflow that allowed the design team to experiment with the form and patterning whilst also creating geometry for the engineering team to progress with their design for the hidden internal support structure.
Our background in architecture and engineering gives us an appreciation and understanding of the challenges these often opposing teams face. We can speak their language, predict their needs and often find mutual ground between them.
The WaterAid garden will be relocated to a permanent home in the North of England to inspire a future generation of gardeners about effective rainwater collection and the wise use of water in gardens.
