We supported StructureCraft on the parametric modelling, optimisation and documentation for the Tianfu Agricultural Expo
At over 75,000m2 it is the largest timber structure in Asia, and one of the largest timber structures in the world.
It was a project of enormous scale which needed to be delivered at speed.
We created a custom workflow to create and store the data needed for structural analysis, fabrication and installation.
We generated approximately 8000 unique drawings. These were used to check fabrication processes, optimise shipping and coordinate assembly & installation.
It was the winner of the 2022 Award for Structural Elegance Through Integrated Design and Construction from the IStructE.
