High-performance studio microphones built in the UK
We fabricated Hypercube, an animated electronic sculpture, for DJ/ rapper duo LV’s ‘Islands’ live show.
A Hypercube is a cube with four dimensions, sixteen corners, and thirty-two edges. It is difficult for us to understand this unless it becomes distorted into a central projection where one smaller cube sits within another with each of the eight corners connected by a line.
We brought this idea into reality, creating a structure which was suspended from the ceiling. It was made from transparent tubing and 3D-printed corner connections, making it easy to transport, assemble and disassemble for international touring.
The interior contained a fully controllable colour LED lighting system which sat within the tubing and was operated live by Creative Directors, Hellicar & Lewis as they responded to the performance.
If you’re looking for support with bringing an idea into reality, feel free to drop us an email and we can chat through how we might be able to help and create an efficient design solution.
